pre-presentation
- drive to school was horrible.. all the traffic lights on eagle rock blvd were not workin, so it took us 1.5 hr to get to SC..
- missed bio class cuz of traffic .. ryan & i were in the comp lab from 930-100 cuz i was goin to get the yummy food (turon, bibinka, majablanca, cassava, & sapin sapin) i was feedin the class.. my dad wanted to watch but he had work
- got really irritated cuz my powerpoint was big 11.3MB & it took forever for the printer to process it
- ryan & i dashed to VKC to prepare the food..made it look so pretty
- people started comin in.. felt the butterflies flutter.. liezel was wearin a kimono (so cute!)
- the 1st presenter went up, then me

- i figured.. drop the formality & go w/ my natural way of speakin
- started w/ the corniest intro "mabuhay mga kaibigan.. welcome my friends to the beautiful islands of the Philippines.. my name is Michelle & i will be ur personal tour guide for today" (just imagine me w/ an accent from the terminator II hostess in universal studios)
- goin well so far.. people were laughin.. i had ryan model for me.. "and here we have ryan wearin the traditional barong tagalog.. he's a capricorn, loves long walks on the beach, & very much single".. =P ryan walked the "cat-walk" & did this cute smile w/ his index & thumb underneath is chin (typical asian pose), & one eye brow raised.. heard a lot of "awww" "cute"
- who would've known that pictures of aldrich would generate laughter.. i talked about how filipinos tend to point w/ their lips instead of their finger (like drich's pic).. the use of a tabo.. & how we pronounce P's like F's..
- sped thru the cervical cancer part cuz i did not have the chance to review it (mind u, i finished the slides 1 hr before class).. but thnk goodness i put a whole mess of info on it, so dr. nezami can't corner me & ask questions.. steve asked about the HPV tho.. glad i was able to answer it
- it was mandatory for us to ask questions in the end.. the format i used was "who wants to be a millionaire?".. i liked it a lot..
**in conclusion, altho i'm not that great of a presenter, i learned how to use my weakness & turn it into somethin i actually enjoyed.. till later.. ta ta
